Short Artist Bio:
Peter Hoffman is a New Orleans based artist who primarily works with oil paint on canvas. Working within the parameters and limitations of various approaches to painting, Hoffman creates visually generous and elusively expressive pictures. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2004, and studied at the Marchutz School of Painting in Aix-en-Provence, France in 2006. He is currently in the Master of Fine Arts program at the University of New Orleans.
